Our Vision
The Sisters’ lives are modeled on that of Mary, the Immaculate Conception, who through her openness to the Spirit’s charisms, and her prayers and good works desires to bring God’s Healing Love to all. The writings of St. Louis de Montfort are the model and inspiration behind our lives of total consecration to Mary, in the service of Jesus, her Son in the distressing disguise of children whose lives have been broken from the very beginning.
Our Mission
The Sisters are consecrated to Jesus through Mary, and our specific mission is taking care of abused and neglected children. In order to prepare children for family, it is important for us to be family to the children in our own home. The St. Charles Children's Home is based on a family model, and provides services to children ages 3-12.
Our Way of Life
The Daughters of Mary, Mother of Healing Love consider the following to be essential to our way of life.
* Prayer* Consecration to Mary* Life in the Spirit* Poverty, Chastity, Obedience* Defense of Human Life* Care of Children
Our Association is faithful to the Holy Father, and to the Magesterium of the Catholic Church.
Our daily prayer life includes the Divine Office, meditation, spiritual reading, a particular examination of conscience, the rosary, and a holy hour spent in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.
We also come before the Blessed Sacrament to sing, and offer praise and worship to God Who is so worthy to be praised.
